ABOUT US

TRUE LIFE STORY (THE PASSION)……….IT’S MEANING FOR YOU….

My name is Mr. Ogba Jahswill, the last of five children born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ogba John. From an early age, I developed a natural passion for cleanliness and maintenance. As a child, I loved sweeping our home several times a day because I disliked seeing sand or dirt on the floor. My mother often told me to rest, but I would continue sweeping until everywhere was spotless.

I also enjoyed going to the market to buy food items and cooking for the family. We lived in a two-passage compound in Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, where my parents served as caretakers. The compound had two toilets and bathrooms, shared among tenants, with each family taking turns to clean weekly. Many families neglected their duty, leading to quarrels among tenants.

Whenever it was our family’s turn, my mother entrusted me with the task of cleaning. Though the toilets and bathrooms were usually in a deplorable state, I patiently and diligently washed them until they were sparkling clean. Other tenants often asked who was responsible, and when my name was mentioned, they would nod in admiration, saying, “No wonder.” Their appreciation brought me great joy and fulfillment.

As I grew older, I gained further exposure.
Together with my elder brother, I worked in a restaurant, serving meals and washing dishes. Though the work was not easy, I found joy in it. Later, I enrolled in Monopoly Catering Institution, where I earned a Diploma as a Chef. I also trained as a therapist to help people manage emotional challenges. Yet, despite these pursuits, my deepest passion remained rooted in cleaning and maintenance.

In 2017, I had the privilege of working with six different contractors at Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals, Rivers State. With the first contractor, I cleaned chimneys and ventilation systems in staff apartments. I also maintained the compound of a senior Nigerian staff, which included sweeping, cleaning gutters, and washing his car. With other contractors, I carried out office cleaning, grass mowing, and various maintenance tasks—all with joy and dedication.

Later, I worked in a laundry shop. During power outages, I often took clients’ clothes home to iron at night when electricity was restored. Though it was demanding, the smiles and satisfaction of clients when they saw their neatly pressed clothes gave me immense happiness.

Beyond work, I volunteered to clean our Christian fellowship building after services. Family members and relatives also encouraged me—my uncle, Solomon, once commended me for my exceptional cleaning skills, urging me to pursue it seriously. Over time, cleaning became more than just an activity; it became part of my identity, a true passion, which I love.

I strongly believe that the beauty of life is not measured by how happy I am, but by how happy others become because of me. This conviction inspired me to establish a career in the cleaning industry, with the mission to revolutionize cleaning as a noble and respected profession.
